Neil Young Held My Future

I first heard this song shortly after I met my husband on a trip to Austin with some friends.

There are memories that stand out vividly of that time. Hearing “Harvest Moon” for the first time was one of them. I had said to my sister, “I’m going to marry him.”

The song played, and I thought to myself that one day I’d hear this song again years later, and I’d feel that way about him. I knew my soul mate when I saw his blue converse from across the room.

About Laura

"We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit." -e.e. cummings
